Firkin Crane Theatre, Cork: Showing: Luke Murphy / Attic Projects

Informal sharing of residency work

Luke Murphy / Attic Projects invite you to a showing following their two week Ceist Residency at Dance Cork Firkin Crane this September and October.

Luke Murphy is engaging in a research and development residency for a new dance theatre work inspired by land-related crimes in Ireland over the past ten years. Luke will work with an international cast of dancers and actors to develop a framework, narrative and movement languages for this new future work including composer/sound designer Rob Moloney and actress Gina Moxley.

Originally from Cork City, Luke Murphy is a performer/writer/director and choreographer working across various media in Europe, the UK and USA. He holds a BFA in Dance from Point Park University and an MA in Choreography from University of Chichester. Luke danced with Wim Vandekeybus/Ultima Vez from 2014 - 2018, touring internationally and has worked with Punchdrunk since 2009, currently in the new London production of The Burnt City.
