Weekly Professional Class with Bebe Miller

Bebe Miller will teach weekly professional class during her week of mentorship with The Vintage who will be in residence at Dance Cork Firkin Crane at the end of April 2023.

How we move is how our body speaks: person to person, thoughtful practice to intuitive response, spontaneous action to focused consideration. At the core of our work is the expressive, articulate dancing body; we are honing our choreographic and kinetic intentions through the clarity of our physicality in time and space, and in relationship to those we dance with.  

We’ll begin with a guided dance warm up preparing body and imagination, developing choreographic and technical specificity through a range of strategies. As an older dance artist my own kinetic interest is shaped by specifics of dynamic sequence, timing, and articulated attention to detail; how we each will activate - and inhabit - our availability to dancing is at the heart of our work together.
