Tara Brandel, Artistic Director of Croí Glan, will lead the weekly professional dance class whilst the company are in residence at Dance Cork Firkin Crane this November.
Croí Glan is currently doing research on climate change and climate justice for a new dance show, in conjunction with the environmental research institute at UCC. We invite dancers with and without disabilities to come and join us for a morning of improvised movement research and discussion around these themes.
Co-founded and directed by Tara Brandel and Rhona Coughlan in 2006, Croí Glan is based in County Cork and produces bold, engaging, high-calibre productions with dancers both with and without disabilities. The company highlights the value of diverse bodies in performance and has been nominated as Best Performance Ensemble Dublin Fringe 2012 and 2016 and has produced over 20 works for national and international touring.
