Informal showing of residency work
After her two week residency Marta Renzi will open the doors of the studio to share her work with us. Marta plans to make new work with old friends - and maybe some old work with new friends. Her work will be live and recorded.
Renzi is a filmmaker and choreographer who has created over 20 short films that have screened in over 100 festivals. She has received two video dance commissions from PBS, including one for MOUNTAINVIEW, made in collaboration with filmmaker John Sayles. She is a seven-time recipient of funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, and was a Bogliasco Fellow at the Liguria Center for Arts & Humanities.
