Sean NÓs Class With Stephanie Keane

Stephanie Keane will host a class whilst in Residency in Dance Cork Firkin Crane this February.

Stephanie will host a morning class in Sean nós dance. Suitable for all. Come and learn the rhythms and steps of this ancient improvised Irish dance.

Stephanie Keane has been immersed in Irish dance for over 40 years, she continues to evolve as a dancer and creator of dance, through exploring and learning contemporary dance practices, music production techniques and sound design tools. In 2020 she received an Arts Council Project award, to direct, produce and choreograph a screendance called Éist (Listen), which won the Grand prize at Cannes Dance Film Festival in November 2023. In February 2024 she was invited to perform at Take Off Festival in Dance Cork Firkin Crane and at What Next festival in Dance Limerick in February 2024.
