Cormac Mohally introduces the concept of accessible juggling
Juggling Workshops with Cormac Mohally
During Cormac’s residency this November he will hold two open workshops to introduce the concept of ‘accessible juggling’.
Many people are afraid of juggling, maybe from childhood trauma around ball games that turned to competitive sport. Complex patterns with multiple objects are superfluous to the spatial and rhythmic relationship between a body and/or objects in motion through space. This accessible juggling workshop uses one ball and will challenge the general perception of how to ‘play ball’. Through play and flow we develop hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, cross lateral physical movement, work collaboratively, and to find the space in time.
Dance artists are encouraged to attend.
