Voice-art experience designed for people with mild to moderate learning disabilities
Loop Love at Cork Opera House on Saturday 20 April is a voice-art experience designed for people with mild to moderate learning disabilities to explore vocal expression in a safe space; and to discover their voice as theatrical art.
Loop Love works like this… You make voice sounds into it and then it plays them back seven times on a loop. There are microphones. The sounds you make, play back like echoes. Loop Love echoes your voice so that you can ‘paint sounds’ with it. You can hear yourself alone and your small group. You make your own kind of voice art with Loop Love!
No experience is necessary, as we have fully experienced Vocal Facilitators and trained ushers. Tickets for this event are FREE, but must be booked in advance, and each ticket allows the participant to bring two guests.
Book your place at www.corkoperahouse.ie.
