Cork Youth Ballet Company Presents Collage

CORK YOUTH BALLET COMPANY PROUDLY PRESENTS COLLAGE

TICKETS ON SALE THURSDAY 5 MARCH AT 1PM

On Saturday 28th March 2026, Cork Youth Ballet Company will return to the stage, with their 10th anniversary production, COLLAGE, in The Smurfit Theatre, Dance Cork Firkin Crane.

Directed by Sinead Murphy, Collage, will showcase the dancers versatility and creativity by performing specially choregraphed pieces and company repertoire in classical, neo classical, contemporary and jazz dance styles.

The programme will feature new and restaged choreography by Alan Foley, Artistic Director Cork City Ballet, Patricia Crosbie, Ballet Mistress with Cork City Ballet and lecturer of dance in University of Limerick, Aoibhinn Quirke, The Bullet Proof Dancer, Robert Foley, IAB Barcelona, Lindsay O’ Leary Cork School of Dance, Artistic Director Sinéad Murphy and Molly Ward, currently performing in Phantom of the Opera. Lighting Design is by Tim Feehily.

The performance will also feature dancers from Irish National Youth Ballet, performing excerpts from Eclipse, choreography by Zoe Ashe Browne.

Sinead Murphy said “Cork Youth Ballet gives dancers the chance to work with new teachers and choreographers. It provides a great opportunity for the dancers to broaden their horizons and to work and train in a dance style that might be outside their original form of dance training."

Founded by Sinead Murphy in 2015, the company provides opportunities for young Cork dancers to train as a company and to produce dynamic new works.
