For the very first time, in our tenth anniversary show, we will take to the stage, tackling an all time classic. Chicago is a once in a lifetime musical wonder; a dangerous tango between the crime-fuelled darkness of 1920s suburbia and the razzle-dazzle, high-kicking glamour of the American Dream.
The spotlight shines on two of the most sensational women in musical theatre: Velma Kelly, the sultry siren with a deadly secret, and Roxie Hart, the ambitious dreamer who’ll do anything to land her name in lights. In a city where everyone’s got a story to tell and a lie to sell, these two femmes fatales are about to fight for the fame that could make them legends.
With infamous show-stopping numbers such as All That Jazz and Cell Block Tango, there is no musical that epitomises glitz, glamour, and scandal quite like Chicago. When it comes to crime and showbiz, there’s only one rule: anything goes. So grab your feather boas and strap on your tap shoes, because Cook County Jail is waiting for you…
