Aoife Desmond's Paring to Become Residency takes place in January 2025
This short movement residency will focus on pared back improvised movement and vocal scores for solo and collective performances. Informed by training in butoh, body weather, contemporary dance and physical theatre, Aoife will work on a core solo language inviting other dancers/performers to join the process through a workshop and open practice sessions. The residency aims to strip away visual and conceptual layers to allow a core physical language to emerge where rhythm, repetition and transient forms become the foundation for new performance work.
There will be a FREE Sharing on Friday 31 January at 6pm, booking is required.
