Dance Cork Firkin Crane honoured at Civic Reception

The team at Dance Cork Firkin Crane led by Executive Artistic Director Laurie Uprichard were thrilled to celebrate the organisation’s reinstatement to Arts Council Strategic Funding with a Civic Reception on Tuesday 23 April 2024, hosted by the Lord Mayor of Cork Councillor Kieran McCarthy.

Along with supporters, funders, artists and friends, we were honoured to have the opportunity to share DCFC’s journey so far and plans to come.

Thank you to speakers Yvonne Coughlan, board chair, and Andrea Williams, dance artist, and a big thank you to Cllr Kieran McCarthy and the team at Cork City Council for hosting us on this special occasion in their beautiful space.
