Get UR Ballet On – Cork School of Dance

Directed by School Principal and Artistic Director, Sinead Murphy, with choreography by Sinéad, Lindsay O’ Leary and Chloe Corcoran, Get Ur Ballet On, showcases and celebrates the talents of the school’s dedicated students. The programme features new choreographic works and some favourites from the school’s extensive repertoire.

Lighting is by Tim Feehily, whose credits include all of Cork School of Dance Productions including The Snow Queen , Beauty and the Beast, Adventures in Narnia and Peter Pan. Tim is also the resident lighting designer for Cork Youth Ballet.

Cork School of Dance was founded by Sinead Murphy in 2009 and offers a range of classes in ballet, modern, jazz and contemporary dance. Sinead trained with the late Joan Denise Moriarty and taught in her school for many years until she opened up Cork School of Dance. Sinead is also an international ballet examiner for the ISTD and has taught at the prestigious Imperial Ballet Awards in the UK where several of her students have been past award winners. Sinead is also Artistic Director of Cork Youth Ballet Company.
